My name is McLane Nagy. I’m a fiber artist who is passionate about the cycle of mending and increasing sustainability in our everyday lives. Clothes should fit us, not the other way around; and we’ve been drowning in a global supply of disposable items designed to make us feel overwhelmed. I want to change that in the small ways I can by offering anything I can get my hands on new or extended life.

I work across many disciplines and media including a nearly decade long (so far) project that explores the relationship of folklore/religion/myths of crossing the veil and birds by creating handmade cloaks that emulate the birds themselves.
